It's terribly hard to get it right. Trying to get the camera to focus on the tiny Johnny, with all the big stuff in the background has been a nightmare...

Sure! It doesn't have to be Johnny though. Use your favorite figure. I'd also appreciate a brief summary of the trip from the perspective of your figure, and I'll post it as a guest column.

Hmm this reminds me of when I used to live in California

Mojave Desert,nothing but tumbleweeds and Joshua Trees :-D

They are interesting, but not to me because I lived there for a loonnng time
