Fanblade Starfighter [MOC]

This is an awesome MOC! Are those sails from the Queen Anne's Revenge? If so, I love how you have used all official parts and still done an amazing job on this complex starfighter.

Oh wow, thats a nice one Rook! The only nitpick that i can find is the lack of roundness in the sails, they should form a semi circle when deployed. But the fact that they fold is a great feature and the design of the fighter is just stunning!

I have those sails, they came from a CREATOR set, I think. :sceptic:

This is awesome. I might have to try and recreate it for the duel between Ventress, Obi-Wan, and Anakin from 'Nightsisters'.

They may be the ones from Fiery Legend, but due to the streaks visible I'm more inclined to think they are the ones from the QAR. Maybe Rook will tell us.

That's the set they came in, I couldn't remember the name. But I think that it can be built with the Fiery Legend wings, I'll have to try.

Yep sure are from the Queen Anne's Revenge. Thank you TLG.

Well TLG can't be prefect. If they were, it would because I worked there.

TLG could add a little “Designed by Rook” to the box art or “Rook” sticker to the ship and I’d be happy.

This looks awesome. I love the folding wings, and the whole thing is nice and smooth. I'm not to familiar with the actual thing, but it looks amazing anyway.

Great job

I can't recall seeing this in the 'Neo' Clone Wars (but from Darth Nihilus' comments it must have appeared) but I do remember it from the original Clone Wars cartoon which imho was far superior.

As DFOL mentioned, it would be more accurate with semi-circular sails but that would only be possible if you were willing to make custom items. It's still commendable that you built this with genuine Lego parts and the fact that it folds up is brilliant. It's surprising that when they produce such obscure craft as the 'Sith Nightspeeder', Lego haven't released one of these, and they couldn't go far wrong by basing it on your design. Nice one

It's in the first episode of the Nightsisters trilogy.

This is a fantastic MOC, and more closer to what a real Lego set of this would be. I love the sails that fold out!
