I am using a Mac, and for some reason I can't find any of that. I have access to all of the icons in LDD for the tools and the mouse options, but I can't actually find anything related to the individual bricks.

Did you try to use search function of your windows explorer?

Note that the file is quite big (almost 400 MB), so it should be not too difficult to find.

According to the "how to enable LDD Extended Mode" guide, the user directory of LDD on MacOS should be:

"/User/Library/Application Support/LEGO Company/LEGO Digital Designer/"

You should find the file there.

Is there a complete list of decors id of the new LDD 4.3.6?

Is there a way to quick find decor id of a decor we want?

I tried to make a LDD decor array with full of 1x1 tiles (WIP), base on nemo's list(page 1) + CMF 1-9, which position (coordinate) can tell their id.

But this one take time to complete. Any easier way? LDD manager can help? Please advice.

Modify a single lxf file is a a different kettle of fish instead.

If a decoration is already inside the db.lif, changing few text inside a lxfml file will make you able to show the decoration over a brick that supports decorations. That's what Aanchir is doing to make all decorations available for LDD users.

Yep, there are eight decorations missing from Series 1-8:

• The hat decoration of the S4 Street Skater
  
• The four leg decorations of the S5 Zookeeper (the LDD team's file uses the legs of the S2 Explorer)
  
• The skirt of the S6 Lady Liberty
  
• The reverse (sleeping) expression of the S6 Sleepyhead
  
• The side decoration from the right leg of the S8 Actor

One other decorated part from the series cannot be generated: the faceplate of the S8 Alien Villainess. However, this is not because the decoration is missing, but rather because the part has no decoration surface to support it.

I ran a check against the lxf with the minifigs from Series 1-8 that were posted here, and found that the list with numbers contains more decorations than just CMF series 1-8.

I am still figuring out exactly what they all are, but through some luck (sometimes looking at female bodies helps ) I found that a lot of them are deco's from the Set 10228 Haunted House.

Even more surprising: some of the added decorations turned out to be stickers in real life!

So @ADHO15: with this file you can update your Haunted House set lxf!

Note: the decorations on the transparant Tiles 2x2 3068 should in real life be (stickers) on Glass 60601, but I used the tiles as the window glass in LDD has no decoration surfaces.

Hope this can save time for people who want to play with hidden decors)

It should be more useful if input and organize them in an Excel spread sheet and LDD Manager.

Excel: Can sort/ filter by brick type/CMF series/ set number/theme etc for quick find the code we need.

LDD Manager: Can batch apply each decals to select brciks at once. Then chang brick colors in LDD/ render with LDD2POVRay etc.

It would be great if Aanchir can apply all of them (1,105 decors) to correct bricks.

It is! Check part 92586 LDD in standard mode: see the one in Dark Orange colour. Indeed, compared to the real-life part, the eyes are rather 'bloodshot'...

Oh, cool, the kitten decoration works now? That's good to hear. It was added in a previous update (along with several other decorations from the Pet Shop), but LDD at the time didn't have any decoration surfaces on that part.

I'm going to have to go through and check other parts that previously were unusable due to a lack of the correct decoration surfaces... I've already checked some of the ones that have been with us for a long time, such as the Atlantis treasure key, Atlantis warrior head/helmet pieces, Space Police III alien heads, LEGO City airplane tail, and Agents body armor, but no luck with any of them. Squidman's head does now support decorations, but unfortunately LDD has never had all the decorations needed to make the complete decorated part. I think his pupils may be present, but not the pattern from the top of his head.
