MOC: Lego Lion

Recommended Posts

I'm not really sure which forum theme to post this in so feel free to move this to a more appropriate theme!

The Lego group has never produced a lion mould* and ,by the looks of it, never will. Thankfully, I have made my own brick-built one!

It is a simple but effective build made out of common pieces and works brilliantly in a zoo!

Please comment and tell me what you think as I allways like improving my MOCs!

*Not including the Duplo lion

Nice lion, especially considering the scale you built it in. Planning on making a lioness soon or just the male? (Or perhaps a zebra for him to eat?)

This is the right place!

He's a little small, but I guess would fit in nicely with minifigs. I love his big paddy paws!

I see your yellow 1x1 clippy plates suffer the same colour variation as mine.

Me like very much:)

Might be a little small compared to minifigs, but great build.

That's a very cute lion! :sweet: And it's quite accurate for such a small scale. Well done!

That is a great brickbuilt lion. I think the size is wonderful for minifig's zoo. :sweet:

The only thing I'd think could be improved is the tail. How about adding this in yellow? x160.jpg

Well done, mate, this is beautifully designed! I love how you made the paws and the mane the most

Hello!

This is a great tribute to the 1x1 slope! :classic: You've used these little slopes very well to create the creature. :classic:

Cheers,
