A LEGO captain hat

Recommended Posts

Today I got a real pirate-captain-hat,and in one corner it has LEGO logo...

I took it from absolutely non-lego-guy,and he doesn't remember where he got this....only that was long time ago...

So does anyone know when this was produced and how it was selt? Was it with some set in pack?

Greetings from Serbia

Selt? Is that a word. Pirate hats are easy to get. In pirate sets.

But wait do you mean a real hat to put on a humans head? If so those can be purchased at LEGO parks...And maybe some LEGO shops.

Yes i mean THE REAL HAT...and you're probably right for getting it in parks...

But i can't believe that someone from here has ever been in any LEGO park....

And I wounded from what year it is....???

My initial thought is its one of those hats sold at LEGO Land. Somewhere in this forum is a thread by Armada Yoda which pictures of a LEGO Land pirate store and it shows wearable pirate hats for sail. So until I see a picture I can't confirm this.

This is what I was referring to...

But I was too lazy to find the thread with the image! Mr Tole has done well... Better promote him or something and soon...

Does anybody know if prior to the 2004 4+ Pirate LEGO theme whether these LEGO stores sold the traditional looking Captain Redbeard/Roger/Ironhook hats, rather than these newer designs?

How often do you get access to the camera?

I don't know how you mean that... I told that I don't have camera at all...

so it would be NO OFTEN AT ALL...

But i will took from some of my friends...Or I will buy it finally...

I'll hope it would be soon...

Digital cameras are very useful devices to have when sharing LEGO over the Internet! Fortunately I've got access to a proper digital camera now but its still not that great. I'm slowly working my way up the digital camera scale...
