That is a large army you've got there. Very impressive! The MOCs in the background fit perfectly within the diorama.

It is wise to check out this tutorial about deeplinking pictures. It would attract more attention to your thread. :pir-classic:

Hope that helps, and good luck with all your soldiers!

Keep them in a healthy shape to make sure they are ready for battle every moment. :pir-sweet:

Nice diorama with lots of details. I especially like the small fortress out in the water. Good stuff! No pirate will ever dare to attack this base bristling with cannons and heavily manned by the governor's finest!

I like the shot of the governor and his guests. What wigs did you use there?

Nice army! Take note pirates, do not engage dirk in a ground war, he is well equipped to defeat all challengers!

I think the Gov's house could use a touch of color to add some much needed detail. I see some nice shapes on the building, but all the white makes it look like a giant white block!

Where did you get the wigs?

They look like they're from Woody64's 7th Mold.

Here are the examples of his Wig:

Woody showed these off in the To wig or not to wig thread.

Hey Dirk72,

I don't often comment on creations but I just had to ask something on your grand army. Was this by any chance at Brickfair 2010? If it wasn't then there was an army almost the same size as yours. Very impressive collection.

The wigs are selfmade.

Amazing work :pir-wub:

They look just like real LEGO headpieces! I even checked Bricklink to find the set they are from (couldn't believe how I could have missed this).

And here we have another redcoat that thinks he can beat us with just a few minifigures. :pir-laugh:

Just kidding, you have a very impressive army and some very nice MOCs to compliment it!

Your wigs look absolutely amazing, would you be willing to make some for the community?

Very impressive! I am planning to recruit my soldiers, but there are only 30-40 men. From which set did you get the wig?
