I finally finished it. What do you guys think?

It's fun to charter an accountant

And sail the wide accountancy,

To find, explore the funds offshore

And skirt the shoals of bankruptcy!

It can be manly in insurance.

We'll up your premium semi-annually.

It's all tax deductible.

We're fairly incorruptible,

We're sailing on the wide accountancy!

Stunning, this definetaly deserves a frontpage.

[bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]

I love all the fun details. Canons in the windows, the brig at the top, is that an anchor in the sidewalk :pir_laugh2: I love it, very creative and it honestly looks like a building on one side with sails on the other. Very creative and fun.

It'll be on the blog in a few hours. Keep your eyes out for it!

Awesome work gotoAndLego. :pir-oh3::thumbup::pir-sweet:

The building looks really great and just like in the movie:

Although I don't really like the sails, they look to white and new.

But what a great MOC.

I think it's a masterpiece! So many great details in this building, and even a good interior with the shooting closets and more.

The real building seems rather plain coloured, but yours is a pleasure to the eye with enough colour tints.

I also like the walking plank :pir_laugh2:

Great job and a well-deserved frontpage

Excellent work on that sail and exterior features.....it is sheer beauty ! :pir-sweet:

I think this is your best work so far 'gotoAndLego' and of course I'm a conformist! ! :pir-grin:

I must say, I really like your photography style, you're good with angles and bokeh. I was shocked when I saw you were using a point and shoot and not a DSLR.

The Canon S90 is a ridiculously good little shooter.

You've sold me, if the time comes for a new P&S anytime soon, I know where to go.

By the time that comes I bet you could land a used 4/3rds for just a couple of bills. Something like the GF1 or EP2. But is nice to know that some P&Ss have big ol sensors.

So well done! It is made with so much attention to detail, that I nearly like the interior more than the building itself.... :pir_laugh2:

Best part I think are the file cabinet-canons!

Oh and btw: you have set me an "Ohrwurm" (as we say in Germany) -> engl. "catchy record" :pir-sweet:

Here is an idea of its scale compared to the 10197 Fire Brigade (its on the modular system so it snaps together with the other cafe corner buildings).

Fun Fact #1

The CPA used in the movie is the old Lloyds Shipping Register building in London.

And for sh**s and giggles here is an early WIP photo. It was just a facade at that point, but the second floor was too similar to the 10211 Grand Emporium, which was sacrificed for bricks.

Fun Fact #2

The back of a Honda CRV is an excellent photo location...no seriously.

This is awesome! I know this from somewhere, was this from Monty Python? Has to be. Great build all round, you've captured everything from that scene. Most spectacular :pir-classic:

Wow, I apologise for digging up this relic from the past, but I had to comment, I've been slowly working my way back through all the MOCS and this is just great. Such a funny movie, Terry Gilliam is a genius and this totally captures the spirit of the movie. Really nice work on a very unique idea.

Absolutely brilliant work, Bruce.

Congratulations on a very well deserved front page you received at the time.

This was posted before I joined up so I'm glad it was bumped.
