And, as usual, it was so difficult, I wanted to point out it was really a toss up and the difference could lie in a mood change from the strength of my coffee or the awfulness of my commute. I'd have liked to have voted for lisqr's entry, but I thought that modifying the Series 1 figure was against the rules (as discussed here) and one of the Robot's arms has been replaced by a laser.

If WhiteFang hadn't have explicitly stated that the Series 1 figure had to be in the original state, then I'd have replaced the Robot's arm on my entry, as I think the Robot looks so much better with two robotic arms instead of one robotic and one normal ...

I also really liked legowill1's entry. Just a shame the photos weren't a bit clearer.

Wow - a whole bunch of fantastic entries and I honestly found it incredibly difficult to pick just 3 to give points to. The 3 I picked though all had something I wished I'd thought of, so that's why I chose them.

In no particular order...

19 Skater & Spartan by Etzl - I thought there would be more entries with the Spartan, and particularly using the alternative meaning of the word, but this was great - and choosing white over tan just cemented the joke for me. Brilliant.

12 Diver and Surfer by Squiz - The Duplo Shark - Fantastic - and the Diver's pose was excellent.

3 Spacemen and Pharoah by Optimus - A lovely spacecraft AND and fab Crypt with lots of details - an obvious pairing? Maybe, but done very well.

Brilliant entries from many many others and I got to build something I'd wanted to build for years - Thanks Whitefang!
