This is brilliant! It deserves a frontpage(IMO) for innovation, skill and an awesome video! :cry_happy:

What you have done with those canisters is amazing! Great job and keep brickin'

The lids on those tall ones aren't exactly watertight. And I needed the opening to connect them to technic.

Another awesome creation! The video was also very entertaining. Well played!

You are a brave man for putting your video cam on the boat!

By the way how did you get that crane or boom shot at the end of the video?

The boat is very nimble and fast. Did you use pieces from the 8376 Hot Flame RC set ( http://peeron.com/inv/sets/8376-1 )? The greater range of the signal (radio vs. infrared), plus the two 5292 "Electric RC Race Buggy Motors", make for an effective Lego boat. Maybe you can sail it out to the North Sea for some "sea trials"! :bonaparte:

I love the faith you have in your construction.. and the weather.. that you risked RC gear.. motors AND a mobile phone out there! :D

Would be interesting to see how fast someone could make a Lego boat.. even if the hull wasn't 100% lego..

Add more motors?

Have you tried other Props?

Would be interesting to compare these parts for underwater propulsion:

Also.. it would be interesting to replicate this drive mechanism:

The boat is very well done, but the real star here is the video. It is brilliant! Very well done indeed. I rarely laugh so hard at work.

I really enjoyed that one, thanks!

Very innovative design, good use of otherwise useless canisters and it is actually quite fast.

Great!
