This is something I've wanted to build for a while- a WWI era biplane. It's not based of anything particular.

Wow, it's so smooth and aerodynamic, it's hard to believe it's even Lego. You've got some nice SNOT there. :tongue:

I'm going to echo that post. Very sleek, very nice, the spots of detail are well done. The colors, epsceilly the stripes on the side, are well done! It's also blocky enough to have a certain classic Lego feel, witout it appeared too Lego like! Very well done!

Thanks. I was almost going for a cartoony feel because I got the idea to build it from the Peanuts Comics where Snoopy flies in these kind of planes.

The wings seem kinda thick but I really like the overall look of the plane.

It does have a cartoony look. In fact it reminds me of the plane from Duck Tales:

Unfortunately I couldn't find a better picture, but I'm pretty sure the plane was originally red, not grey like the one shown here.
