Hello!

Many times I caught myself sliding two of these grill tiles against each other while thinking of something completely different. But it never came to mind to make something like this great sliding door with the grill tiles themselves. Great technique and idea for a wardrobe!

A very nice technique I must say, and the wardrobe doesn't look half bad either. I too noticed that you could slide two tiles together nicely, but was thinking more along the lines of making a monorail or something with them.

What a clever technique! Too bad the wardrobe itself isn't really minifig-scale...

But instead of a wardrobe, this technique could be put to use in actual sliding doors, like the ones leading to a garden or a patio in contemporary houses. Now that I think about it, I think I've seen sliding doors made with a different technique in some MOC or real set...
