2010 Community Build

Recommended Posts

So im building a house, can I make it three stories high and have three different famlies in each? Plus a basement?

Instead of just one house. Its kinda lika a n apartment.

That sounds okay to me.. I'd say yes but you should probably start with only the first/second floors and talk to ratshot about it :pir-wink: make it so its easily interchangeable if you want though, so its easier to take apart if he says no. :pir-tongue: kinda like a modular home. :pir-wink:

EDIT: Question, The windows in my build don't allow for LEGO Element window to fit inside, Can I use a clear plastic? As in this picture?

Go right ahead, there's no rule against how many stories :pir-wink:

I don't want to anybody to feel left out, so from now on everyone who want's to participate can build a house or a slum house

Rat.

Hey that means that my fisherman's house or captain's house can also be included in the community build. Do I just take a place on the map or does someone assign a space to me? The latter is preffered since it makes it more official.

Anyway

here's the thread where my houses can be seen. Comments are welcome and appreciated.

regards

Stanley

I'm about down with Merchant Trading Company, but still need the roof...

Also, for the goods, I just put in a bunch of barrels. Do you think that's ok?

Of course! A few crates along with it, some chests and you've got a goodie pile!

Some rolled up tissues with rubber bands or elastics works really wel for cotton balls and/or rolled up sails/rugs.

Just to motivate you guys a little, there will be a small prize after the Community Build is over, if you don't submit your entry by the 15 of March there's no chance of you getting the prize. That's all I'm saying :pir-grin:

Pretty good. I've got everything but the roof. I don't have many slopes, but I'm up to my eyes in 2x3 tiles with clips, you know, from Jabba's Sail Barge.

Very good! Using 2x3 tiles with clips is an excellent way to create roofings.

Keep it up!

I'm working. You know drunks don't come that easily :pir-wink:

edit: a bit more punctuation would be nice, even if you are drunk like a real pirate supposes to be. :pir-wink:

Sorry captain blackmoor I didn't even realize I missed punctuation.
