New wheels

Just a thought, because no-one else has brought it up yet.

In the Toy Story Train, it looks like it has new driving wheels, more suited to smaller steam and shunting locos. They look almost like BBB wheels...

It's 30mm in diameter.

...and it comes in blind and flanged variants.

It looks smaller in the toy story pic...we'll have to wait until better pictures/release to confirm...

Do you have Emerald Night? The wheels in that set are arguably too small and look bigger because of the surrounds.

I think I'll agree to the latter statement.

and no, I don't own an Emerald Night. Lego is second in my hobby list to model railways, which undoubtedly allow more detail/space ratio.

It seems that the Toy Story train doesn't include the flanged versions which will make it hard to keep it on the tracks. Probably not a good train set that one. :hmpf_bad:

Not by itself, but it could be a good way to get more blind wheels if you want to make a 4-8-4 like this;
