legotrainfan Posted November 21, 2009 This is the scale I prefer. Very nice creation. I found the tanker of the My Own Train series too big. Yours is fine.
MightySlickPancake Posted November 21, 2009 @legotrainfan- I agree this looks a lot tidier than lego version. nice one , the stickers are great. cb

WesternOutlaw Posted November 21, 2009 Nice work Cagri. I like the size of this much better than the official Octan tanker from the My Own Train collection. I think we'll front page.
Big Cam Posted November 21, 2009 I like the use of the shell sticker and the train logo tag that some of the train buff's have here. Nice work.
lightningtiger Posted November 21, 2009 Sometimes the simplest designs are the best. Great job of this tanker, 'cagri', looks like a real tanker with it's stickers and gauges. No overkill here and I agree with The Brickster much better than My Own Train one. This one would be the right size to go with the 7898 cargo train. Once again great job ! Duq Posted November 21, 2009 I like the clean design. Still, I think the ideal diameter for the tank would be 6...

Although it is smaller, the effect is look like the real one!!!! It is good for mass production!
*thomas* Posted November 22, 2009 Wonderfull ! It looks 'factory' and is much more elegant than the 8 wide MOT octan car... Good job !!!

CommanderFox Posted November 24, 2009 Nice MOC cagri I agree with others that this is a nice scale, even though im not a huge train fan. Well done and the stickers are great! CommanderFox
WhiteFang Posted November 24, 2009 This is a wonderful piece of work. It certainly appear realistic compared to those real tankers out there. This has been featured in Classic-Town.net.
aawsum Posted November 24, 2009 Nice MOC. A neat and clean build. To me it looks a bit like a propane tank, which we used to have at our house. For a tank car, I think it would be nicer if it was 6 wide. Now the chassis looks real big compared to the tank itself. However, the build itself with all the details is great
peterab Posted November 25, 2009 I like the clean design. Still, I think the ideal diameter for the tank would be 6... I agree with Duq, this is a nice clean design, but it would be improved if it were 6 wide. Perhaps next year we will have the parts to make that a reality. I mentioned in the 2010 sets thread that the airport tower appears to have 6 wide round panels, but I guess there are fewer train fans reading that. Hereis a picture of the parts I mean. Just when I bought a whole lot of 8 wide panels
Piranha Posted November 25, 2009 Great job I really like the SYSTEM scale look of this MOC. Would look nice on any cargo train. This makes me think of the 2010 Octan Tanker Truck
