Thank you for showing pictures of displays and the pictures of EB members. I look foreward to Legoworld in Copenhagen in early 2010, but would really like to go to the Dutch one too some day.

Yeah it was a great day and we got to talk to lots of nice people and see really cool MOC's.

A big thanks also to Aliencat, for letting me put my Tiger tank in his display, which was really awesome!

You Europeans are so lucky, you have these huge/crazy events, there's nothing like that here in Canada :cry_sad::pir_bawling:

My favorite MOC was the pirate one.

Oh, then I did see you guys! I recognize you with your blue shirt, and the guy on the left side too.

SlyOwl, well that's a small fountain with custom made soldiers in it. The water came out of their hats. Really cool to see in real life!!

And the hats were custom moulded with epoxy! :classic:

Actually, this MOC is so remarkable that I've decided to make a thread for it inside the pirates MOC forum.

Nice pictures!

I went on friday with a friend of mine who was an intern for Lego this year.

We met groups of designers from Denmark and were even taken out to dinner by the head of the Mindstorms division from Denmark afterwards. It was a really fun day and because we volunteered for the big Mindstorms model in Zwolle of Billunds Lego factory we got free admission. :cry_happy:

I am going again next year!

The guy was really good in making custom decals and accurately painting small details. quite remarkable.

The event was really nice, and it was great to meet some members in person! :classic:

Too bad they didn't had the exclusive fire department any more at the Lego store....

Sold out... :cry_sad:

First time I didn't buy anything at LegoWorld.

Cool pics. Those dioramas are really big, especially the sea diorama. Was the whole diorama on blue baseplates?

Good times for you guys.

I visited today. It was my first Lego event ever and I had no idea what to expect. I was done a lot sooner than I had expected, probably because I skipped all the bouncy castles and such. :P

Next time I go to one of these, I'll have to try and attend the forum meet. :classic:

I was there monday with friends and I liked it very much.

At one pic of repubilcFORCES you can see a moc of the moneystoragehouse of Scrooge Mc Duck, while the Beagle Boys are trying to drill a hole in the wall.

I liked the Fabuland village also very much and the houses of Clickits. There were some great castle diorama's and the great pirate diorama's was also very nice.

I have seen the new minifigs (and animals) of Prince of Persia and of Toystory and talked with Mark Stafford a bit. I asked if he could tell if there came many new space police sets, but he could not tell about it.

I liked the Zoo of Rick (another one, not from this site) very much, with an entrance based on the the zoo of Antwerpen and minifigs who asked for more animals from TLC. But next year They will get Camels and Ostriches already.

In one hall there was a shop from Lego themselves where they sold white horses and brown cows separately, so I bought 2 brown cows with horns still in bag for 6 euro  (they were first 8 euro, but they were already for sale).

I also bought 4 16x16 studs baseplates so I can make a little Hoth diorama.

At the end everybody got a bag with some cookies,a magazine and the best of all: a free little lego bag.

Well I got it, but the most years (when I was on the first day), only children got a bag with goodies. Now I was on the almost last day and I think they had so much left they also give it to the adults.

Maybe, I should get next year again on monday.
