Future74 Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) Very cool MOC indeed I like the way you made the engine intakes and wings, but I dont recognize the steer/gun parts on the main body. Could have been the upcoming TLC's version of the STAP. Edited August 17, 2009 by Future74
Skipper 24 Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) Probably the best STAP I have seen . The guns and steering console have been done really well. Your engine/intakes look good too. Have you tried turning them around? Edited August 17, 2009 by Skipper
DutchRebel Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) I like the way you made the engine intakes and wings, but I dont recognize the steer/gun parts on the main body. Guns are made out of screwdrivers put in binoculars connected with a minifig hand into the slope. Steerpart is a cut piece of flexible tube. DR Probably the best STAP I have seen . The guns and steering console have been done really well. Your engine/intakes look good too. Have you tried turning them around? Hey skipper, why would I turn them around? The engines are supposed to 'slope' this way, see image. Thanks for your thumbs up! Edited August 17, 2009 by DutchRebel
the Inventor Posted August 17, 2009 Wow This is really the best Lego version of the STAP I've ever seen. It really does look like your reference picture. Maybe you could use black screwdrivers in place of dark gray screwdrivers. the Inventor
Inconspicuous Posted August 17, 2009 Wow! What an amazing MOC DutchRebel! For something so small, a lot of nice details are packed in. I especially like the screwdrivers guns on the front. Keep up the good work!

Fumoffu Posted August 17, 2009 Very nice MOC. The changes you made aren't major but it made a big big difference to how much better your STAP is compared to the original. Just shows that sometimes people just need to put a little more thought and a small change will make a much better outcome.

prateek Posted August 18, 2009 Most likely the best STAP MOC ever
pedro Posted August 18, 2009 Great take on the STAP Dutch Rebel! I love some of the unusual contrsuction methods our members use in their models - especially to achieve tiny detail - it's inspired much experimentation of my own. The main barrels look way better together, as intended in the original design. Nice work as always
CommanderFox Posted October 20, 2009 In my opinion this is the best STAP Well done DutchRebel I really like it! CommanderFox
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) This is awesome! You have really captured the STAP, its stance and the shape of it in this MOC. I really want to build it for myself now, as your creation of course Could you show us how to build it please? Big Cam Posted October 20, 2009 Very very accurate, much better than the free one that was given away. Good PS skills too. You can't see any base at all.
