WW2 German Tank Destroyer Nashorn

Recommended Posts

Good tank. I would recommend a different color than blue for the wheel holder guys :classic:

Grey pins are becoming hard to find , well at least for me :sceptic:

I never knew why lego went to blue and tan for the teccnic pins because blue is usesless :sadnew:

German tank destroyer is most certainly beautiful and the angled armour is great!

I actually have a ton of grey ones. Half are being used in other tanks, and the other half are somewhere amongst my collection in a plastic baggie. Argh!

That's a really really nice tank you built. Yours is the first tank MOC I seen. Now I'm enlightened about the possibilities and have to try something myself. I need to look for some photos of the actual tank but just looking at your MOC it looks to me like the tank may be a little tall?

That was actualy a major design flaw with the Nashorn. Too tall!

Thanks for the links. Its a very good read. That clarified it all. Your MOC is now even better. I think its amazing what you managed to achieved. At first glance it doesn't even look like its built with Lego bricks.

That looks great. Short but simple.

^

that picture has a lot of value to me because it just explained to me how to make suspension for tanks , your design is also pretty simple witch is nice :classic:

You should probably add a few little things like shovels and pick axes onto the sides to make it a little more detailed.

Most of my AFV have lots of details. But all the pics I've found, show next to no accessories on the Nashorn. Except for treads and wheels.

See lotta goodies on most of my creations.

**EDIT: I didn't find any actual pics with shovels or pick axes, but I did find a model of a Nashorn with a SHovel on the side. I'll give it a whirl. ;-) **
