SWAAT

10 Years after the Clone wars ended, thousands of clone troopers, dismissed and disarmed by the new Emperor are traveling through the known universe. Posttraumatic symptoms and poor bio-engineering made many of them very angry and frustrated soldiers which then were an easy aim for the drug dealers of the Hutt clan or any other gang. Stoned, drunken - but still in in good shape and trained in self defence and military tactics, these guys were very unhappy customers for the local planetary governments. Some of clone trooper officers even managed to build up their own gangs and brotherhoods. They knew where to find weapons and where to find the money - a series of crimes with a new quality of brutality and precision started.

At this point of the story, the planetary goernments of the outer rim asked the emperor for help - but he was busy to fight the rebellion. So many planets, merchant guilds and other groups formed a coalition to fight those elements and built up a heavy police force with the codename "LSP3". The Imperial Defence Ministry supported them with some old vessels from the clone wars - mainly LAAT/i and AT-RT, which were refurbished and equipped with new weapons systems.

This is the latest model of the Special Weapons Arial Attack Team:

It's a little bit heavier and less manouverable than the old LAAT, but its faster and better armored.

In the front gun bays there are two turrets with light and infrared search lights, combined with two Tazer Guns to disable smaller vessels. Every element which is a little bit less armored or shield has a UltraSteel Protective fence or cage around it. A very well know tactic of the SWAAT is the "Armageddon Approach", which means, the SWAAT crashes into a building or vessel and then release the troops.

In the cockpit, there is place for the pilot and the WSO (Weapons system officer). Under the cockpit, there are bubble turrets on each side with a high-precision anti-personal laser attack sytem with can be used lethal or non-lethal force.

In the back there is a Ion TeleTracting System for "towing" disabled vessels. In the rear cabin there is enough space for 4 police officers with jet packs which can be deployed during the flight - especially for Recon Missions and Hostage Rescue.

At each wing there are the main weapon systems:

1. Taim & Bak KX 8 TurboLaser Canon to attack heavily armored vessels or fortifications. The use of this weapon required a special permission from the Emperor because it is capable to penetrate every kind of military shield and most kinds of armor. Normally only used in self defense or to breach a hull or a wall for the "Armageddon approach"

2. HighSpeed Chain Particle Gun (CIS-Weaponry) to attack and damage enemy vessels. This weapon system is used for applying limited force to stop vessels. The projectiles don't penetrate the hull but will damage exterior parts like engines, weapons and com Systems.

3. Long Range Slayn & Korpil Intruder Missile to stop and disarm enemy vessels from a safe distance

4. Multi-Purpose Concussion Missile - breach walls and end sublight space chases in a very short moment.

For a safe response the SWAAT is equipped with a 8 emergency lights panels and a emergency lightbar from Imperial Signal Cooperation. The frequency red and blue lights were visible for every know species and the accustic emergency signal is audible within 0,2 parsecs. The PA-System, used in turbo mode, is lethal within 2 miles.

Finally, the SWAAT is equipped with a Prison Pod. Any arrested clones will be brought into the pod, which is secuered with a BIO shield system and Ultra Steel bars. The Prison Pod then will be quickly released at the CDC (Clone Detention Center) and is then an integrated part of the CDC - the prisoners needn't to be moved. The quick release system can also be used as an emergency drop of, in case the clones managed to free themselves.

Sorry - but I ran out of time. I will add final specifications and the SWAAT-Personal in the next days although I know its to late..

Ok, here are some little changes - but please disregard for the contest.

At first I changed the colour uf the escape pods on top from white to black:

Then I finished the stern and the interior:

I made it more signal orange to provide more safety at FUI - Stops...

And then , beside Pilots and Gunners, here is the SWAAT-Team:

A Captain, 4 Officers and two MRP-Specialists (Mobile Rocket Pack).

and finally: The bad guys!

This whole thing could be a great start for a series: A FX 130 space police heavy tank, a prison Nu-shuttle...

Take Care,

Jan

Yes, very good entry. Congrats on comming in second with it!

But why is the back orange? That part looks completely out of place, and there is no orange in the SP3 color scheme. :sceptic:

Other than that, you captured the style of SP3 perfectly! :sweet:

Sweet MOC, good luck!

Good luck with what? The invasion contest has been over for months. :hmpf:

Please don't just bump up really old topics for no reason.
