Paul cantu Posted May 30, 2009 Carts+carriages, military, closed 4b This is my first attempt at a carriage. Please leave suggestions on ways to improve the other carriages that will occupy my port.
Capt. Kirk Posted May 31, 2009 Maybe you could work on the roof a little (tiles, ornaments, lamps, ect).
Zorro Posted May 31, 2009 Maybe you could work on the roof a little (tiles, ornaments, lamps, ect). I agree, but then again only on the sides probably since I don't know the roofs were made off a hard substance. Anyway, I like your mansion and I like your carriage, so good luck with your port! Captain Green Hair Posted May 31, 2009 Looks quite good already, i like the stretched ''limo'' '''lowrider'' look. Maybe you could work on the roof a little (tiles, ornaments, lamps, ect). That and maybe make it 1 brick higher so that figures would fit in?
Lt. Col. Thok Posted May 31, 2009 Very nicely done - ingenious use of the hoses. I agree, perhaps some hanging lanterns may complete it.
Admiral Croissant Posted May 31, 2009 I think this looks very great! I agree with the others that it could be a little bit higher. And since it's a very large carriage, maybe you could add some horses to pull the heavy thing. For the rest it just looks very good
Paul cantu Posted May 31, 2009 That and maybe make it 1 brick higher so that figures would fit in? Figures do fit inside I made sure of that.
Admiral Croissant Posted May 31, 2009 That and maybe make it 1 brick higher so that figures would fit in? Maybe he means that if you make it 1 brick higher, figures can stand in it (though that''s ofcourse not neccesary in a carriage)
Ratshot Posted May 31, 2009 The only thing I can think of is too put some stuff on the roof like here Looks good and good luck with your port
Captain Blackmoor Posted June 1, 2009 Looks great! I love it. The colours really give it a "royal" feeling. It's a bit long for a carriage I think but I still like the shape. I would add small low fences on the roof, and lanterns to add some detail on it. Although it's very nicely decorated already.
Hound Knight Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) Great work Paul! I really like the effect you've achieved with the windows at an angle. Only thing I'd suggest is adding some decorations to the roof, but otherwise it's perfect! Edited June 1, 2009 by Hound Knight
Commodore Hornbricker Posted June 1, 2009 I love the design but I think you should shorten it up by at least 4 - 6 studs and 2 studs narrower. It is very beautiful though.
