We've found a fun little MOC over on Flickr by Rod Gillies (aka TooMuchCaffeine).

I thought it was really funny, especially since the soldier will shoot his own man along with the parrot if he shoots.

I'd recommend the soldier holding the parrot move it away from his face before the other soldier shoots it. I think that musket ball is going to make short work of the bird and lodge in the soldiers head...and that's just the chance the pirates will need to grab their pikes from the barrel and beat the remaining soldier into bloody pulp. A funny and beautiful MOC.
