mikey Posted May 1, 2009 75a By looking at the box art you would think a Lego Pirate does not have a care in the world? Today my (only at the moment, but this will soon change!) Lego Pirate expierenced all the downsides to piracy. First captured by the smug Red coat, and put into a horrible prison cell, to await transportation back to England where I am sure the gallows await: The sadistic Red coat admiral had not even provided a bed! On the way back across the atlantic we ran into a storm, the ship was wrecked! Now if the sadistic Red coat admiral goes to buy Pirates Kraken Attackin tonite, I am sure next I will be devoured by some sea monster, but at least I may get some pirate company at last! Captain Blackmoor Posted May 1, 2009 Great work! Nice storyline and nice work on the MOCs, especially the water looks great. I'm eager to see the next part.
mikey Posted May 1, 2009 cheers! I saw that water technnique (but better executed) on here first. I think I might need to stock up on a lot more cheese slopes soon. Just bought myself Shipwreck Hideout and Loot Island... I think Pirates are amazing! Now I have a whole crew of good for nothing sea dogs to round up and inflict my sadistic imagination upon! Admiral M Posted May 1, 2009 yay sadisticism! I like your MOCs alot, and I especially like your water. It looks very good.
Admiral Croissant Posted May 1, 2009 I totally agree with them, the water looks great. And the pictures are very clear, that makes it look like you are really there in the story. And it's a nice story, but most pirates, ofcourse, weren't so lucky..
mikey Posted May 2, 2009 Cheers for the encouragement! And it's a nice story, but most pirates, ofcourse, weren't so lucky.. Absolutly! I can see things going from quite bad to worse for this poor chap!
Admiral M Posted May 2, 2009 He could have to swim back to cuba with a shark hot on his heels
mikey Posted May 2, 2009 (edited) He could have to swim back to cuba with a shark hot on his heels He wished he had made it to Cuba (a Pirates playground I presume!), instead he floated through the sharp (no sharks... yet) waters, and landed on an island... Now this would not so bad, except it is already inhabited by this deranged soul: And who I presume was his last guest to visit? A diet of raw crabs: And stimulating conversation at meal times... Lets just say living with Robinson Crusoe was not a barrel of laughs... To make things that little bit more unbearable, the man is convinced, given the right tide and a good wind, he can steer the island home! I mean I just play along to pass the time really... "I'm not sure mate, but I might have just heard some gulls?" Edited May 2, 2009 by mikey
Admiral M Posted May 2, 2009 THER IT IZ! I seez da land tee hee hee... nice moc, you really captured the crudness of a collapsing shack.
mikey Posted May 8, 2009 it was an easy choice, stay on that island and slowly loose all sense of reality, or take a chance on the seven seas again...
Zepher Posted May 8, 2009 I love the story so far! You have a nice sense of humour, and the MOC's, while not outstanding, work well for what you're trying to convey! VEry good work, I look forward to further installments!
mikey Posted May 16, 2009 so after floating around aimlessly in his bucket, our unlucky Lego Pirate is getting thirsty (drinking options very limited and rather unsavoury!)... a lush green island is spotted, and a sheltered bay is found... with all this vegetation fresh water will be near, so a trek inland is the answer... so it looks like we have another guest? this one looks all skin and bone, but sometimes the thrill is in the chase? Guss Posted May 16, 2009 I love the island^^ your little history is really cool ^^ will you make more ?
Admiral M Posted May 16, 2009 Another great installment! It is almost like a comic now Good work! Is that pirate going to find shangri-la any time soon? It looks like he needs a break...
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 16, 2009 I really like the story, and good work on the island too! It looks very realistic with all it's cliffs and plants. You told the story well, now I'm eager to see the next part!
Admiral Croissant Posted May 16, 2009 Hilarious! I really wonder how this will end.. I hope he will survive, so the story can continue some more times Great how you made the island, but maybe you could have put some animals on it (for dinner )
mikey Posted May 17, 2009 Cheers for all the positive comments everyone, loads more ideas to come yet... He will definetly 'survive' for a bit longer, I think death would be far to easy for him!
Ratshot Posted May 17, 2009 I think death would be far to easy for him! I agree, he's thirsty and tired and all what he has is a paddel to fight off the Islanders so I think he should live a little longer. I really like these little stories. Keep up the good work
mikey Posted May 31, 2009 eventully in a clearing I found fresh water... it was a relief to know I would finally quench my thirst... as I rested I tried to clear my mind, to rid myself of the paronoia that had been building up... I did not like this island, I felt uneasy, like I was being watched... but worse than that, I was starting to feel like I was being hunted... to be continued...
