Cannons at the Ready!

Hello everyone, I just I'd share my cannon and Ribauldequin design with you. You may use both, as long as you give me some credit. :pir-classic:

Here's my 12 pounder, which I used in my PTV entry, "The Pirates of San Pedro". It's really quite simple...

And a rear shot...

And here's my Ribauldequin.

I know it's a bit medievel, but I thought it looked pretty good beside a 1700 century soldier.

Thanks for looking!

Waw, I love that :pir-cry_happy:

Never seen the 4 gun-cannon before in Lego. And I like the simple, but nice and effective design of the 12 pounder :pir-blush:

The wheels on the cannon look a tad skimpy, but it is really brilliant and the simplicity is great. :pir-laugh:

No one mentionied that soldier is very cool to :pir-sweet:

Cannonballs are little bit too big for this caliber, but it's still nice composition nevertheless.

The 12-pounder looks really interesting but I cannot see how the barrel connects to the truck. Is it just sitting there or is there a connection I am missing?

I was curious on that too.

Perhaps you can post an image of the 12 pounder, with one side removed?

Already thanks :pir-blush:

Sure thing! Here you go...

Sorry about the bad picture quality, but I think it gets the message across. :pir-classic:

I used this piece to connect the barrel to the truck to keep the barrels rounded shape. The axles are cut flex tubes, in case you're wondering.

Like I said, you're welcome to use the design, as long as credit is given.

Very cool! For the axles, as you said they were cut flex tubes, but do you think a short bar (like the harry potter wands) would work? I might have to test this out.

Thank you Exotrator, for the picture :pir-blush:

Nice techniques used in it. Perhaps I'm going to use it in an upcoming MOC.

With your credit of course :pir_laugh2:
