My AT-ST MOC

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I've just uploaded new photos of my AT-ST on Brickshelf. After being disappointed by Lego's second attempt at the wallker, I decided to build my own version... and it fits two pilots too :classic:

Here's the first exterior shot:

Another quarter view:

The rear of the 'head':

Detaching the top and back to access the interior:

Interior with two pilots...

...and without.

Top hatch opened with pilot ready for a fight!

Please take a look and feel free to comment. Cheers!

Great work pedro.

I'll index this on Sunday, not at home for the weekend and working the index on this slower pc is a menace.

I like your solutions and the design.

Now that's an AT-ST :thumbup::thumbup:

The pilots look kinda squished, but other than that it's really great, detailed, kinda like a minifig scale UCS model.

Thanks for your comments! Aye, there's not a massive amount of room for the pilots but they do fit in there snugly. I wanted to keep the design as true as possible to the movies and maintain the right proportions while keeping the model at minifig scale, so had to sacrifice a little room in the cockpit. I could imagine that there wouldn't be a lot of breathing-space in the real thing anyway!

This is a really nice moc!Can you try putting it with chewbacca and take a picture because it would really look nice like in the scene of star wars episode 6.I like the copit but it is a bit small.You might want to make it bigger a bit.Besides that,good job! :classic:

It's perfect. To all those who think the cockpit is too small - it's just right - this is a war machine, not a sedan! It's pretty accurate to the kind of interior space available as demonstrated in ROTJ.

Have you ever been inside a Tank? They aren't exactly equipped with luxuries - such as extra space.

That's exactly what I was about to say and I've been in a tank and an APC...no swimming pools there :thumbdown:

This is a perfect AT-ST design :thumbup::thumbup:

but definitely better than TLC's. :thumbup:

I really is :thumbup: but unfortunately this would cost more because I think it has more parts and 2 minifigs.

Impressive AT-ST! :thumbup: I find it pretty closer to the original and, of course, much better than the TLC one :wink:

Very nice MOC Pedro.

I never got along with the re-design that TLC did.

I might be one of a few that likes the old design better.

Specially when the colours are changed.

This is by far one of the best I have seen so far.

Keep it up!

Thanks again for all the great comments, I really appreciate it!

I wanted to create an AT-ST as authentic as possible so used lots of reference pictures. Having the capacity for two pilots is a feature we've all hoped for in Lego's releases but never got so it made a lot of sense for me to include that in my MOC. I'm glad you all like it!

I'll see what I can do!
