Stefan Posted August 7, 2008 (edited) Hi! Here's my attempt at building a small-scale WALL•E: Comments and Constructive Criticism welcome! Btw, I'm new to the EB forums, so if this thread is not in the correct subforum, please move it! Regards, Stefan Update October 2009: I just rebuilt Wall•E's treads and hands to make him more accurate: Regards, Stefan Edited July 17, 2011 by Rufus Indexed
Captain Green Hair Posted August 7, 2008 That would be about minifig scale, right? I like that. Haven't seen the movie though... Nice work!
Hinckley Posted August 7, 2008 I'll move this to Other Themes with the rest of 'em. Nice work.
Stefan Posted August 7, 2008 (edited) Thanks! @ Captain green hair: I haven't seen the movie too (It will be released in Austria on September 25th), but I think my MOC is too big for minifig scale (it's slightly shorter than a minifig) Edited August 7, 2008 by Stefan
Derek Posted August 8, 2008 Awww! Its so cute! I really like it though, even if it isn't minifig scale. It seem that its the latest fad among the Lego community. EB should have a WALL-E contest. darthperson
tin7_creations Posted August 8, 2008 can you tell me how you made the body, what pieces you used? cause I can't really tell...
Faramir Posted August 8, 2008 but I think my MOC is too big for minifig scale (it's slightly shorter than a minifig) Well, if you think about it, so's the minifig scale R2-D2, so I think it's just perfect! Great work and welcome to EB!

NerdFighter Posted August 8, 2008 That's a really nice model. I think it's the best small-scale one I've seen. Good job!
Doctor Sinister Posted August 8, 2008 Yes, of all the LEGO recreations of the character I've seen, this is definitely my favourite. Dr. S.

Stefan Posted August 9, 2008 (edited) Thanks! As for the body and thread design, I have to credit Neo Vox. Btw, soon Wall-E will meet his Girlfriend! Edited August 9, 2008 by Stefan

Capn Frank Posted August 16, 2008 Very nicely done Stefan! He might be a little big for MF scale, but i think that's as close we're going to get. Very innovative on the construction; it took me a while to figure out how it was made. Hope it's ok if i build one of your wall-e's, cause i'm going to anyway. Great work! NewRight Posted August 17, 2008 The Wall-E has the most detail I have seen and that is a terrific EVA. Amazing work!

Holodoc Posted September 29, 2008 I´ve seen the movie today an I have to say your two robots are absolutely brilliant! Although they are very small, they capture the feeling of the movie - very well done!
Zorro Posted September 29, 2008 I´ve seen the movie today an I have to say your two robots are absolutely brilliant!Although they are very small, they capture the feeling of the movie - very well done! I saw the movie some time ago, I liked it very much, especcialy the "mute" part which was filled with emotions! Your Wall-E is great, simple but good-looking; and EVA too, I like your WALL-E more though.

prateek Posted October 11, 2009 Your V2 looks very good! One thing that worries me is the tires snapping. I also love EVE!
