Staff Car- Raiders of the Lost Ark

Recommended Posts

theaterindex.gif

Hello everyone! In honor of the recently released Indiana Jones movie, I've finally decided to post my version of the Nazi Staff Car from Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's the car with Belloq, Toht, and Colonel Dietrich in it, and oddly, the only car not included in the "Race for the Stolen Treasure" set. The pictures are a bit big, so I've posted links to the BS gallery instead.

Here's a basic view of the car. Shows most of the details, including the easy-to-miss red flag.

Straight-on front view.

The (left) side. Those pontoon fenders there were hard to make; all the other brickbuilt designs were larger, so this is the smallest I could make it.

The back, with luggages, bags, etc. attached.

Here's a shot from the back. That canopy structure back there went through versions than the car itself! Its shape is hard to get right, but I think I did a decent job.

Inside the car. Room for 3 figures- that's just enough space to get all the important characters in there.

Here's a scale shot. I kept it at the same scale Adventurers/Indiana Jones cars tend to be.

Here's a reference shot, from theraider.net .

Constructive criticism? Thoughts? You know what to do. :classic:

Folder isn't public yet. Sounds good though. Try deeplinking.

Darn, forgot about that  I'll change the first three pics to deeplinks so you can see what it is.

Edit: Ended up deeplinking all the pics, see if that works.
