brickmasterben11 Posted May 29, 2017 A Briolui supply truck rumbles down a makeshift road towards an artillery position. Little do the escorting soldiers know that a few meters away Refnor troops wait behind a brick wall. Sorry if the pictures are unfocused or grainy, I am more experienced with building than photography it appears.
paintballman Posted May 29, 2017 I like the story and that you tried to keep the type of the Briolui uniforms as we know them (in Tan). Try to add more light when you photograph your creations.
sigpro Posted May 29, 2017 Hi! The story is ok and according to the campaign plot. The truck is right, it´s a pity Lego doesn´t make an 8-stud windscreen. I don´t know whether you used a mobile phone or a digital camera to take the pics; maybe some settings can be changed and the final result will improve. Bye and good job! brickmasterben11 Posted June 4, 2017 Thanks Thebeeze, but I figured out a better light source so my next entry should be better in photo quality.
The Great Brick War Posted June 12, 2017 You've Been Awarded (4 ) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): The problem here lies in my inability to see what's actually going on. The story you're telling sounds great, but the focus here is the building. From what I'm able to see it looks like you did something decent, but I can't really see it all. Your photos need some help. Please PM one of the admins for advice on this, it will benefit you tremendously. No need to make excuses, let's get those photos lookin' good! So light, you need to have light. Your pictures, they have little to no light. And while we are on the topic of your pictures, make sure you make them large enough that people can see them. Your post should show everything people need to see from your post. They shouldn't have to go to flickr to view the pics...so I would say when posting, make them medium size. I like that you have a background, but mny of your pic exceed the background; I see a window, a wall, a family picture? Your builds themself have potential, but if they cannot be seen, then that doesn't do you any good. I would say if you are building terrain, and more changes in elevation; the real world is not flat! More than one plate shows change, one plate difference is not enough...it's just tall grass! Vehicles are tricky, but I like where you are going. Keep them small enough to serve their purpose, but at the same time, you want to be able to detail them, but not put too much on them. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing!
