Hello folks.

I made a simple fidget spinner out of technic bricks.

It is wery popular thing right now. I think so.

My version is not that fast as it must be. Try to make some, and beat me.

and the video of the performance.

I'm allready tired, my son asks all the time for this thing.

I told him, to build it from lego. He does not build it. I suggested to use smallest turntables, more like brick version.

At the end I will have to do it, or just buy :sadnew:

Those turntables would have too much fiction, especially when you squeeze them together when you hold them. maybe try something like this?

Cool build, unfortunately it's probably not possible to get Lego to go much faster, too much friction. (might be possible it Lego made a ball bearing, which we all are already hoping for)

Don't buy one, it's basically just a ball bearing with a case, plus at my school, teachers are banning them. It's not worth it to buy it.

I understand this. One of daughters scoolmates allready made his own and even put in to production :) But if cheapest cost some 3-5EUR, then I will allow my son to buy it for his own money.

There where also lot of almost useless thing in my childhood, which we wanted and also bought, and then after some two days forgot about them. And there will be such things always.

Don't want to create a separate topic for this - we also constructed some Technic fidget spinners with my son:

I decided to see what all the fuss was about and ended up making these...

Some of these can double as spinning tops, but only for a few seconds. The first video is pushing 25,000 views now -- clear evidence of a mass addiction out there, as that's nearly 200 times my average for a LEGO video!

Those are some cool designs -- especially the big gray one.
