[HELP] Best Setup for Big Truck

Recommended Posts

I made a big truck with 4 xl's(driving), 1 servo(steering) and1 m(uplifting trunk).

I'm using 2 battery boxes. and have 2 V2  receivers.

Will this work? What setup should I use?

Depending on where each component is located, the setup will vary, but the ideal setup would be:

1st battery box with 1 receiver connected to 2 XLs and 1 servo

2nd battery box with 1 receiver connected to 2 XLs and 1 M-motor

This way, the power drain is about even on both battery boxes.

Ok and do I have to press 2 buttons on the remote control to use 4 xl's? Do I need to add a receiver to use 4 xl's with one button?

You can build a lever between both remotes to control two different sticks at the same time.

Ok, is it possible to to connect one battery box to a V1 and  a V2?

And is there a limit to the amount of motors I can connect with one receiver?

@itoero There's no limit, but if many motors are connected, if one stalls slightly the whole receiver will kick in overheating protection. Yes ,you can connect as many PF components to one battery box as you wish , but the batterry box also has overheating protection, so it would be better to use two battery boxes if possible.
