MOC Limestone House

Recommended Posts

April showers bring May Flowers. Just in time for Easter, I finished my Limestone House. A couple of pictures from the outside and a few of the interior. Hope you enjoy.

Very nicely done!  I always like natural light for exterior shots. It adds that "little something" extra to the realism of the build.  Question... What piece did you use for the corbels under the dormer?

Thanks for the nice comments. It was such a lovely day outside yesterday and the ice finally went off the lake that week so I could take pictures outside. The piece is a 1x1 modified brick with scroll and a 1x1 round plate underneath.

Glad you like the colours in the house. I used up all of my 1x1 plates in dark grey, light grey and beige trying to create random stone work.

What a gorgeous build! There are so many details and each of them is a delight. The stonework looks fantastic and real; I love the roof and the lush garden. Inside I think the bathroom looks luxurious and I too like the waffle tile floormats! I also like all the different lamps around the home.

Thanks so much! Those quarter tiles are awfully useful and the pie ones looked like bathroom tiles/floor mats to me.  I like figuring out new ways to do furniture and lights.

Thanks, I really like using the ornamental fence for things other than fences.

This is so gorgeous!!  Would love to chill out in that garden.

Great use of the ingots for the path and the pies for the mats.

Thanks so much! My actual garden is just starting to flower now, so it was nice to have a spring/summer scene early. There are so many great Lego pieces to try in different ways.
