Hello all !

Here is my WIP topic for the TC11 bot . I want to have a final mean looking bot that performs well. I chose to use tracks because with tires steering was working very poor. As for the wepons I don't know exactley what to do but there will be 2 and 1 is already done . Some front/rear shots :

So far I did the front platform* that is raiseble :

As for the technical aspects :

-driving/steering : 2 L motors (direct drive, no gears)

-lifting of the platform*  : 1 M motor with 1 big liniar actuator

-1 small baterrybox

-2 V1 recevers

-there will be 1-2  more motor/s for the other function.

Placement of the motors isn't that bad so there is defenetley room for 1 more function :

I am also thinking of adding another big liniar actuator for the platform* so it can get more power (speed at which it works is OK). Full armor will be made ( so far : bottom and all sides) .

Any thoughts about inprooving are very welcome  Please suggest a sesondary signature move (i don't want to waste a recever port).

And guys , I need a name for it ! I have some which I realley like (please choose your favourite) :

-Come To Papa

-Arena Closer

-DriverRamp(suggestion)

-Your suggestion  (now seryousley please suggest a good name)

Not bad, but the flipper is no flipper  Its more like a ramp... Also the "Flipper" would be more stable, when you put 2 LAs on each side.

Name: DrivenRamp

Edit: If another bot, drives over the flipper, the tracks will just slip away.

Fixed :) I am going to insclude that name on the list . That problem could ve solved if I would have those rubber things that go indide the track holes.

Those are a bit costly and will increase the ground clearance half a stud. You can use silicone bands instead, like this to achieve the same:
