I know pre-orders are not something Lego does often, but they did do it with the previous UCS Millennium Falcon. There hasn't been an official announcement yet, so let's not get carried away
doclord Posted May 23, 2017 (edited) A little birdie told me that Snoke is one of the four buildable figures for TLJ, and the largest set is a ship that belongs to someone named "Ducain". I really hope said birdie was telling the truth, because "Ducain" may be Benecio Del Toro's character... and it looks like that was the guy who stole the Falcon from Han! Well personally I don't rage over spoilers, but you should hide that last sentence for those who do 6 hours ago, doclord said: A little birdie told me that Snoke is one of the four buildable figures for TLJ, and the largest set is a ship that belongs to someone named "Ducain". BTW, the rest of the info sounds interesting, but since I do not care for buildables, really hope for a Snoke mini figure with molded head Edited May 23, 2017 by Sneakguest
doclord Posted May 23, 2017 You've got a good point, my mistake. If you could edit your quotes, I've hid my information. Again, it's just something I heard, but it lines up with a few things we've heard from Making Star Wars, such as: BDT's character being a criminal, and him owning a "fancy ship" that doesn't fit his character. He may as well steal it from the "Casino Planet" where much of TLJ takes place on, and this will become a main ship ala The Falcon

Amazon UK has just posted the SW Annual 2018 book and it comes with an Imperial Gunner (the same as in the Battlepack and UCS Death Star). Release is oktober 5th for 7.99 pounds. https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Official-Annual-Egmont-Annuals/dp/1405286962/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1495546203&sr=8-8&keywords=lego+annual

Deathstroke77 Posted May 23, 2017 That's a wonderful figure. I do hope it's in a small/medium sized set, I really don't want to have to fork out for it.

DarthPotato Posted May 23, 2017 Interesting... it looks like the same print as Old Ben, just different colors. But I still think it works very well.

Now that you mentioned it , it really looks like a recolor of Ben. Not sure if I like it.
doclord Posted May 23, 2017 Exclusive figure in a $100 set is just a recolor of an existing figure... man what is going on with LEGO this year?? LOL First the Flying Fox set now this!
StarWars8Spoiler Posted May 23, 2017 Recolored prints for new figures is a cheap and lazy tactic. At least the face print looks good.
ChiefPie Posted May 23, 2017 Doesn't look bad but if it's a recolor of obi wan, that's not really good.
Franklinw1234 Posted May 23, 2017 Hopefully it's just a recolor because they don't want to reveal the official figure early.
nikhkin Posted May 23, 2017 Apparently I am one of very few people who don't see the issue. It's a totally different colour scheme, which gives it a completely new look. Plus, unlike Obi Wan, Luke looks good because the colour is consistent between the torso and legs. It looks awful on the Obi Wan figure.
doclord Posted May 23, 2017 The issue that it is complete lack of integrity to give a new version of a sought after character in an expensive set a rehashed design.
Clone OPatra Posted May 23, 2017 I wouldn't put so much stock in a rendered image like that. The Rogue One promo image had recolored Han legs on Jyn and some other inaccuracies. No reason to get fired up until real images of the sets come out in any case.
