Well i know we have another review around here but i thought i would add one too, i shall be uploading a lot of pics so this might take awhile X-D

Lets start with the figs:

Ok heres a group shot of them, have to say i love the new printing on these figs.

00.jpg

Now heres my only gripe with the new figs, i have to say i hate the way vaders head sits on the broken helmet. It just dosent look right IMO.

1.jpg

Ok well i wont dwell on the figs any longer at this point now lets get on with the build:

Your first base bit.

2.jpg

3.jpg

This will be your cockpit:

4.jpg

Underneath:

5.jpg

Your next base part:

7.jpg

Building up:

8.jpg

Joining the two:

Building up again:

Your next part:

11.jpg

Underneath:

12.jpg

Parts attached:

13.jpg

Attached to the cockpit:

14.jpg

Next part:

17.jpg

Now this part was a fun build and colourful:

19.jpg

And it goes with this:

20.jpg

This yellow piece will allow the bigger piece to move:

21.jpg

Covered:

22.jpg

Attached to the other part:

23.jpg

Opened....closing...and shut:

25.jpg

26.jpg

Attached:

27.jpg

Next base part:

29.jpg

The ships laser guns:

30.jpg

Back to the base:

31.jpg

Building up again:

32.jpg

One part of the ships hull:

33.jpg

Underneath the hull:

34.jpg

Hull attached:

35.jpg

Hull built up:

36.jpg

Reverse side:

37.jpg

Attached to the cockpit:

38.jpg

Time to start a new again:

40.jpg

42.jpg

43.jpg

With missiles:

44.jpg

Time to cover them up:

45.jpg

Time to attach again:

46.jpg

New again:

47.jpg

Underneath:

48.jpg

Missiles attached to ship and ready to fire:

49.jpg

Starting again, how many times have i said that? X-D

50.jpg

New gun holders:

51.jpg

Your part with gun holders attached:

52.jpg

Step by step:

53.jpg

54.jpg

55.jpg

56.jpg

Next hull part:

57.jpg

Underneath this part of the hull:

58.jpg

Attached to the base part:

59.jpg

Open hull:

60.jpg

The main base of the ship assembled:

62.jpg

More lasers to hunt those escaping jedi!!!

63.jpg

First ships leg, you will need 4 of these:

65.jpg

All 4 attached to the ship:

All hull parts open:

Now the crap:

68.jpg

Yes that's right we have one of those damn shooting pieces, oh and here's where it goes:

69.jpg

Your first wing part:

70.jpg

Building it up:

71.jpg

Side view of where the wings will go:

72.jpg

Front shot of the ship:

73.jpg

Wing attachments, these go over the axle parts on either side of the ship:

74.jpg

Like this:

75.jpg

This turns with great ease:

76.jpg

Next wing attachment, these will hold the 2 wing pieces on the right side of the ship:

77.jpg

Next part for the attachment:

78.jpg

Fully built and ready to hold the wings:

79.jpg

Next wing:

80.jpg

Building the wing up again:

82.jpg

Now here you can see just how the wings are held:

83.jpg

First wing attached to the ship, it holds on really well:

84.jpg

Now for the left side:

85.jpg

Next wing attachments:

86.jpg

First part of left wing:

87.jpg

Built up once again:

88.jpg

Underneath the left wing:

89.jpg

And finally the ship is complete:

91.jpg

Inside the ships cockpit, as usual this needs some work. Once again lego has decided to cut costs with its content:

91.jpg

The figs proudly stand besides the empires new starship:

90.jpg

And finally heres a shot of the Rogue Shadow next to anakins new starfighter:

93.jpg

Ok so overall i like this set, sure it has a few bad points like that darn shooting missile. But the littel moving wings and secret gun holders more than makes up for this, the set itself is well put together and wont fall apart.

Once you get over the different wings you kinda get used to them, as the design of this ship is really strange i think lego did there very best.

Right well thats enough from me at this point, im sorry if some of the pics are not too clear. Any pic requests are welcome.

Nope it can only hold 1 and even that's pushing it :-/

I can't believe the amount of pictures that are in this review :-D

Scrolling through the pics, it feels like I'm building this myself. Great detail!

An asymmetrical ship... looks a bit strange. I don't remember this one from the movies 8-|

I can't believe i took so many and then spent the best part of 2 hrs uploading them to BS *wacko* , Still it was worth it.

Oh and i forgot to mention that this set has 2 instruction booklets, but on the plus side the bags are numbered which makes the build alot easier.

One problem i do have though is that i have 3 stickers (all the empire symbol), yet it only shows where to place 1 in the booklets. :-/

You lucky BEEEP and your starfighter ship. :-P

Interesting set. Indeed there are some bad points, and I don't know how the ship looks in the game, but it's pretty nice.

*vader* : Can we get more general pics out of you? :-)

Will

It's truly beautiful, dear friend! *wub* *wub* Thanks for the great review. I love those figs and although I'm not an EU fan, this is such a great SW/Space MOC pack!

Well to be honest, I'm disapointed. I was hoping for an interior and expecting that it would hold all three mini-figs. :'-( I'm not even sure if you could give it an interior without a complete redesign. Even so, I think the ship looks pretty cool, and I love the figs... especially Juno! *wub* (I get excited by boobies on mini-figs; am I sick? :-D ) Since this set will probably cost $120 AUD I can't see myself buying it.

Thanks very much for an excellent review Vader. I was stunned how many photos you took! 8-
