Wind-up Robot

The all time classic toy of the 20th century and to me the coolest toy right after LEGO now finally in brick form!

This is my project for LEGO Ideas. It uses a classic blocky body and cubic head design to make it simple and cute. It is, as you can see,decorated with a control panel on the chest, a face with two scary red eyes and a cool little window on it's back that lets you watch the mechanism at work. And it can really walk!!!

Did you base it off a certain wind up robot when you built it?

I didn't know the feet of wind up robots are so flat, is it also prevent it falling over when walking?

No, I didn't base it on a specific robot. And I didn't use the same walking pattern, which means the feet are a bit different and yes, they are so big to help him stay upright.
