using bleach on lego parts?

have some white parts that i want to brighten up, they are not yellowed or anything....just want to see if bleach would make them whiter....but is it safe?

Don't do it - there is another topic somewhere where you can use peroxide and oxy to reverse the discolouration. Bleach will weaken the plastic.

"What he said" I've tried the Peroxide and Oxyclean combination and have had excellent results.

You have to be patient and allow the liquid combination to 'clean' those white parts, better results if your 'cleaning dish' is located in sunlight. 7-10 days to really clean.
