Thanks great review. Very surprised the suit guy is so common it's normally not the case. The ones we like seem to be the most common.

Thanks for the fantastic review as always Whitefang! The figures I was most excited about (Scary Knight, Native Woman, Satyr) I am even more excited about due to the high quality of the torso and leg prints. I will also have to get one each of some figure I was going to skip upon seeing these up close (Kendo warrior, Laser Droid).

Long live the standard CMF Series!

This looks to be the greatest series for a long time.

Farmer: Nice new pig printing, will be getting a few of them

Astronaut: Like the printed flag, will get one of these

Grim Knight: Nice helmet & shield, not keen on the tooth sticking out though, that looks a bit weird, will get one of these

Clumsy Guy: Love this guy, he reminds me of me recently as I badly dislocated my ankle at the start of October & had to have a cast. Crutches will be useful for a hospital MOC, will get 2 or 3 of these

Tribal Woman: I like the baby piece, will get a couple of these

Winged Battle Warrior: Will get one of these for a museum exhibit

Satyr: Leg piece looks odd, nice face print though, will get one of these

Animal Ranger: Like the skunk & double face printing, will get 2/3 of these

Janitor: Like this one, like the mop, will get one of these

Ballerina: Love this one, will get a few of them, the torso could be used with a wedge to create another style of wedding dress, will get 2 of these

Winged Mech Warrior: Meh! Same as the other two previous ones which I had no interest in so will avoid this one too! Zero of these for me!

Kendo Master: Like the face printing, pity the headband didn't go all the way around, he could've made a great dojo master with the judo outfit from an earlier series or the karate outfit from the GB Olympic series, will get one

Shark Suit Guy: Another character suit, will get one of these.

Wrestling Champion: Mullet!! Will get a few of these

Jewel Thief: Nice hair piece, the face print with the eyemask reminds me of those stylish 60s glasses, will get one of these

Queen: Nice new dress piece, will get one of these

I really like the ratio this time! So the queen will be hard to find, but yay, 5 sharks! 4 satyrs, winged warriors and ultimate warrior wrestlers alright!!

I'm disappointed the shark guy isn't more rare. He will be the first suit guy to be not as valuable as the rest.

Thank you so much everyone for your comments and thoughts! It is wonderful to be able to read your sentiments and views on this new Series 15.

In last vote selection needed to mention choice of neutral, because for me it's not very important, does minifigs belong to one theme or it is classic collection, both of that is awesome :)

Well, I need you guys to decide on one choice.

It's funny you should say it is the "the minifigures which we normally need to obtain just a few are given the distribution ratio of three". It is all the female figures that are given a distribution of three.

It's not necessary and I viewed this distribution ratio in a positive manner regardless of gender.

You also say this about the satyr's legs: "It's the first of its kind to be ever created from the usual standard minfigure legs." This is not true. There are the pirate legs and the robot legs that also deviate from the standard minifigure legs.

Yes, thank you for pointing out and I have amended to the following, "This is one of the few design attempts to create another different variations from the usual standard minfigure legs."

Whitefang, nice review as always :)

I think you mistakenly added that the tribal woman has a full scale animal :)

It is a full scale baby:)

Thanks! I have updated and reflected it correctly.

Is the scary knight's print dark green or regular green? Are the vambraces printed in metallic!or dark gray?

The print is dark green and the vambraces are printed in black on dark metal gray arms.

Agree that this is one of the best series so far! Glad I saved some moolah from the last 2 cmfs. :-)

Fully agreed with you. This is one of the best LEGO CMFs Series ever and it give many people a chance to accumulate the buying since Series 13.

Nice review again. You totally missed the chance to use the shark guy for a 'left shark' joke though.

It slipped out of my mind.

One question if I may: What colour are the Mech Warrior's hands? Are they medium azure, the same colour as the S6 Genie's head, torso and arm colour?

Yes, you are right. It is medium azure colour similar to Series 6 Genie.

Thanks great review. Very surprised the suit guy is so common it's normally not the case. The ones we like seem to be the most common.

I am very pleased to see the most pereceived popular minifigure to be the most common. It will be interesting to note on how the open market will react to the hunt of the LEGO CMFs.

I am even more excited about due to the high quality of the torso and leg prints.

I agreed with you. The prints for the torso and legs seemed to be increasingly complex and the ability to print unique designs on different corners of the minifigure is rather remarkable.

Request: could you post a pic of the Minotaur with the Satyr legs?

I will get back to you with a photo based on your request once I set it up. Do give me time to work on it. Thanks.

The panda guy in the Lego Movie series was 6 per box?

The panda guy in the Lego Movie series was 6 per box?

Hence he's only worth €10.

Bunny suit guy is €40

Thank you for the excellent pictures. Now I'm excited for all of them. I'm especially impressed by the Satyr and Queen for their new lower-body parts (even though the Satyr can't sit), and I like the Scary Knight now that I know his face looks a little inhuman. I do wish the Pearl Gold matched on the Winged Warrior, by painting the hair instead of the helmet. He'd be great for making the god Hermes, though!

Cheers for putting this up; looks like you put in a lot of work.

I'm looking forward to this one; it's a brilliant series, as far as I'm concerned.

Excellent review once again, WhiteFang. I am eagerly awaiting this series. Like the best CMF, it services a lot of themes City, Castle, Space, Historic (non Castle). I think LEGO is starting a strong Asian theme since the last several regular series have contributed to that. The only ones I plan on skipping is the Shark suit guy and the robot.

WhiteFang, can you take a photo of the wrestler head on the Highland Battler? I want to see if that blue face paint can pass as woad.

Sure thing, Blakstone. Will do it once I have the opportunity to do so.

My usual reaction when so many people vote the latest series as the best is to get annoyed that people have such short term memories... they get excited about a figure or a piece, and suddenly the whole series is better than previous ones.

But not this time... I've never seen such an outstanding array of figures and new pieces, I'm absolutely amazed.

Bravo, TLG. I may go back to buying full boxes.

Thank you again for your detailed and outstanding review! As I read it just now I did not notice any errors :)

I am really surprised that we get a bigger chance for Shark Suit Guy - likey!! I will gladly get a complete series on January 2nd in my local LEGO store (hopefully it's not that full and overrun...)

I am already a fan of this series!

My favorites are the Winged Mech, the Kendo Master, Winged Battle Warrior, and Jewel Thief.

Also, in the sets and cards, the ninja knew and regularly practiced kendo. But in the show, only Kai and maybe Cole actually mastered it. They normally just use it for training in general.

If you look back at the voting, they are all ranking well above average. TLM and S10-12 have a biggest peak for Above Average rather than Outstanding, and I didn't go all the way back so may have missed some. It makes you wonder what average means, when every series is above average!

It's not necessary and I viewed this distribution ratio in a positive manner regardless of gender.

Series 13, 14 and now 15 have every single female character produced as the least frequent. S12 was slightly better, having the battle goddess and dino tracker at 4 instead of 3. There is clear gender bias going on in the CMF series.

Your reviews for CMF are one of the most important as they are normally the first out. This type of information should be pointed out and hopefully fed back to lego.
